About the age category: Student 18 to 26 years
The Student category includes all passengers from 18 to 26 years of age who study on a high school or at a college in the Czech Republic.

Within Prague, students can use approx. 50% discount on season tickets. To acquire a season ticket a student needs to have a chip card or PID pass "Student" with confirmation from the school.

These season tickets are valid in the whole area of Prague in all transport means and on all PID lines (except AE) for a specified amount of time. It is necessary to own a chip card (for electronic version of the ticket) or a PID pass (for paper version of the ticket). All these season tickets are non-transferable. Season tickets for Prague can be combined with short-term or season tickets for the outer region.

In the outer region students pay half-priced tickets if they prove their age and their studies by ISIC card or pupil's card. In order to prove age, an ID card verified by its issuer (e.g. a school) that contains first and last name, date of birth and a photo can be used. National ID or passport can be used. If necessary, such card can be issued also by the transit operator.
Season tickets for the age category Student for travelling around the outer region - discounted
These season tickets are valid in outer zones of your choosing. You can choose from the zones 0 - 12. The zones that you choose need to be adjacent. The season tickets for the outer zones can be used on suburban buses and PID trains (only integrated sections). It is necessary to own a chip card (for electronic version of the ticket) or a PID pass (for paper version of the ticket). All these season tickets are non-transferable. The season tickets for the outer region can be combined with short-term or season tickets for Prague.
